SONIA LEE (historical keyboardist and music historian) maintains an active concert schedule in North and South Americas, Europe , and the Far East . She was a top-prize winner at the 2007 Montréal Baroque Galaxie-CBC Rising Star Competition and the 2007 Mae & Irving Jurow International Harpsichord Competition. She has taught music history at Illinois Wesleyan University and presented lectures for numerous institutions. Currently she serves on the Board of Directors and as Newsletter Editor for the Midwestern Historical Keyboard Society in the US .
La clavecinista, organista, y musicóloga canadiense Sonia Lee participa regularmente en conciertos en Norteamérica, Latinoamérica, Europa, y Extremo Oriente. Ha ganado primeros premios en la Competición Jóvenes Promesas de Música Barroca Galaxie-CBC en Montreal, 2007, y en la Competición Internacional Mae & Irving Jurow de Clave en 2007. Entre sus profesores más importantes destacan Charlotte Mattax, Hank Knox, Luc Beauséjour, y Joyce Lindorff, con asesoramiento adicional de Kenneth Gilbert. Ha enseñado musicología en la Wesleyan University de Illinois, y ha presentado conferencias y talleres en numerosas instituciones. Es miembro de la junta directiva de la Midwestern Historical Keyboard Society.
