Following last October's excursion to Cabezón's home-town, Castrillo de Matajudíos in the province of Burgos, FIMTE is now involved in the project of building a sixteenth century Spanish organ for Cabezón's town. This organ will make it possible to organise concerts and courses in Cabezón's home town in the near future as a tribute to the great Renaissance keyboard composer. The town of Castrillo, a tiny town of 66 inhabitants lead by its mayor is supporting the initiative.
The cost of the organ is 44,000 euros. At this early stage, and thanks to a generous sponsor FIMTE has already raised almost a quarter of the total. Your contribution is much necessary and welcome. All sponsors will appear (if so desired) on a commemorative plaque and in FIMTE's website. Sponsors will have at their disposal a number of hours per year to enjoy/perform/study on the organ at Cabezón's home-town.

We count on you to make this project a reality. All ideas and help to enable us to reach our goal are welcome. In this site we will update the amount raised towards reaching our goal: an organ for Cabezón's hometown.
