Le Nuove Musiche brings vibrant and innovative readings of “the new music” of the early-modern era to audiences worldwide. Concertizing throughout the Americas and Europe, the award-winning members of Le Nuove Musiche have been featured at some of the world’s most prestigious venues including the stages of Carnegie Hall, the Metropolitan Opera, Toronto’s Glenn Gould Hall, Trinity Wall Street, St. John the Divine, the Whitney, and the Pierrepont Morgan. Acclaimed by Early Music America and the National Post as “exciting, bold, and spirited,” and “[angelic], hailed for true sensitivity and drama,” the ensemble’s versatile players have been showcased in broadcasts on NPR, WQXR, HBO, and the British and Canadian Broadcasting System. As longtime artists-in-residence with Carnegie Hall’s Neighborhood Concerts project, group members promoted the development of Baroque audiences since 1997 and recorded for the Dorian, Albany, Capstone, and BMG labels.
