BERNARD BRAUCHLI, clavicordista de excepción, alumno de Santiago Kastner, entre sus conciertos se incluyen los realizados en el Boston Early Music Festival, Shrine to Music Concert Series, Festivales de Santander y San Sebastián, Festival de Salzburgo…Ha realizado grabaciones para las compañías Titanic Records, EMI, Stradivarius y MAM. Bernard Brauchli ha publicado numerosos artículos a ambos lados del Atlántico y su libro, The Clavichord, publicado por Cambridge University Press en 1998, le valió el premio Nicholas Bessarabof de la American Musical Instrument Society en 1999. Es fundador y director del Festival Musica Antica a Magnano, presidente de la Swiss Clavichord Society y fundador junto con Christopher Hogwood del International Centre for Clavichord Studies.

BERNARD BRAUCHLI lives in Pully (Lausanne), Switzerland and is widely known in the field of early keyboard music through his many concerts, recordings and research, most notably on the clavichord. He has made numerous recordings for EMI and for Titanic Records (USA). He is founder and president of the Festival Musica Antica a Magnano and, with Christopher Hogwood, founder of the International Centre for Clavichord Studies, all in Magnano, Piedmont, Italy. Awarded the Nicholas Bessaraboff Prize for 2001, honoring the best book-length organological study in the English language published in 1998/99.
