C@BEZÓN500

1510-2010

FIMTE is celebrating the fifth centenary of the Birth of Antonio de Cabezón (1510-1566), starting in June 2010.

Cabezón was Spain 's greatest Renaissance keyboard composer and to pay him homage FIMTE is organising a series of activities, with the participation of well-known international musicians and researchers, who will open new areas of knowledge about Cabezón and his times.

In addition, in this fifth centenary year, we are calling for online performances of Cabezón's entire oeuvre -The C@BEZÓN500 Collection- open to all those who wish to contribute to this homage with their playing. Let's make a success of this!
